Beautiful summer weekend, humidity again this week, a shower here and there

High pressure will remain over the Great Lakes, bringing pleasant humidity and a light northeasterly flow. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, in the low to mid 80s.

High clouds continue to roll in from the west, filtering the sun as a weak upper-level surge moves across Kentucky. Isolated showers remain south of the Ohio River. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight, with morning temperatures in the mid 60s.

A southerly flow will develop on Monday as high pressure moves further east, resulting in increased moisture ahead of a disturbance in the center of the state. Scattered showers and storms are possible across the southern half of the state.

Seasonally warm and humid conditions will persist through midweek, with increasing chances for scattered showers and storms. A frontal boundary will stall north of the Ohio River, serving as the focus for a series of low pressure ripples.

Temperatures are usually around 27 degrees Celsius due to persistent cloud cover and the chance of rain. It will become drier at the beginning of the weekend.
